Hello there, everyone.

Dave here, back from the grave, hailing to you all the way from 日本！Is there a single soul that looks at the forum these days, I wonder? Either way, going through the old blog posts me, Kevin and some of the other bloggers made was a nice trip down memory lane. Seeing my thoughts on school, cigarettes and alcohol was quite interesting.

I have a full time job now, live in Japan and have learnt myself Japanese. Funny how things change, huh?

Happy Holidays to all of you! Wether you're jewish, catholic, christian or w/e.

Yesterday was the day we celebrated Christmas in Sweden and I'm a little rusty on the knowledge of holidays in other countries..

Anyhow, I got a new computer for Christmas.

Also, I've decided that I'll start with my reviews again.

I will post reviews on the blog about different stuff, it could be upcoming games (Any console i.e PC, PS (1,2,3 & Possibly 4), Xbox (Classic, 360 & Possibly One) and I might post reviews about Nintendo games or similar.

Though, I'll probably not only review games, I thought that I could review games, consoles themselves, movies, softwares and so on, practically I'll review pretty much anything. :P

So feel free to help me with this by requesting something you'd like me to review.

And Sven as they call it, made all the schools in my city shut down at around 12 o'clock today.. Wich sucked.. Because I am finally starting to enjoy being there..

Time for a review!

Heya!

It's been a while since I posted.. Well.. Anything on the blog.. So I decided to review a game..

I've decided to review the game Saints row 4 wich has been released on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.

I'll just start off by picking up some info on the game from wikipedia. (Lazy me but I'll comment on the info aswell)

Info: Saints Row IV is an action-adventure video game set in an open world environment.

My response: Well.. Yes, it is an action-adventure video game with open world environment.. But it doesn't live up to its expectations imo..

Info: As in previous titles in the series, the player controls the leader of the Third Street Saints, who has now become the president of the United States.

My response: You jump into the action of being the president of the USA. Even if this sounds like a great thing, you're not able to experience it for long..

Info: The game returns to the fictional city of Steelport from The Third and takes place five years after the events of The Third, focusing on the Saints fighting an alien invasion as well as simulations of the gangs and enemies from their past.

My response: This mostly speaks for itself.. But to sum it up, the earth gets blown up and everything you do further on from that happens in a simulation controlled by the leader of the Zin Empire; Zinyak. Your goal is to make the simulation corrupt enough to be able to reach Zinyak and eliminate him for good. To do this you have to rescue your whole gang from different simulations where they are trapped and then go on to finish off Zinyak.

This game didn't really talk to me like I thought it would.. It's a great game nonetheless but it could've been alot better! It messes up the story of the previous games in the series completely! I mean.. Basically the first thing that happens is that the earth gets invaded and blown up and from that point you'll live on an alien ship and perfom actions in a simulation.

I do admire the game but I believe it has come to look a lot more like the Prototype games since you get certains superpowers from consuming a special specie of alien monsters (wich look very much like the hunters in the Prototype games).

Overall I would give this game a 7 on a scale from 1 to 10 since I was disappointed on how the originality disappeared but the game was still very entertaining in a way that not a lot of other games are.

Out of town..

Mark's currently in Italy.. His arrival back in Serbia is planned to be on Friday wich will also be the day of my disappearance for a while :P

Reason?

Well.. My father is turning 40 this Wednesday so I'm gonna travel around 52 swedish miles (Practically across the majority of sweden) in a car to celebrate my fathers birthday 3 days late since we arrive at Friday but the party isn't being held until Saturday.

This will mean as you may already have figured out.. That from this Friday (7th of June) until a yet unknown date, I will not be online. I will leave here at around 9 AM Friday morning and arrive around 3-5 PM at my dads house.

It'll be a hell of a ride.. Especially considering the fact that in the car, 4 people are going to follow on the journey. The 3 people, except me, will be my grandfather, his wife and PERHAPS my cousin... So.. Yeah.. I'm in for tons of sleeping, talking family stuff and so on.. Though.. It'll be tough for me to live a few days or maybe even weeks without you guys..

I'm sure we'll make it though.. But I just wanted to inform you this and also.. I will miss you!
