What if i report someone? and put your steam ID in it? it would get you banned... but i have a vid of someone else...
and i don't say we don't believe our community players. but you don't want the wrong guy to be banned right? see it as the cheater walks away with freedom... and you have a bad name because you been banned ;o you don't want that right?
and therefor valve invented the "Recording system" write "record 1234" into console.
after that is done you see: Recording 1234
after that, you have to write "Status" into console to show steam ID's ( but you already found that out)
then when you think have enough proof, write: stop
then search for 1234 in your CSS map with search @ windows
Ok so all these hours of rendering and uploading to youtube are now useless?
I reported 4 players today and they arent going to get banned?
And the reason why i dont do that is because i dont want to spend hours rendering a video with Sony Vegas, rendering in sony vegas would take a long time if i did it that way unless you want me to upload the replay file in megaupload or something.
BlackRose.. if you think you mus understand that it don't help to take a screenshot of a hacker. be4 reporting hackers you maybe should consider to add a recoded demo of em instead of screenshot
Sharpster and Lina, both of you are wrong. This community is built upon the trust towards community players.
It's much easier and faster for us to ban reported players if the video is uploaded on a site such as YouTube. Verifying the SteamID is not a problem. You can check Nico's thread about that.
BlackRose, you're doing great. Keep up the good work. And yes, this player has been banned. Thanks for the report.
