If you would like to play with us on our server, or to play Half Life 2: Deathmatch at all, follow this how-to thread.
First, you must figure out what graphics card(GPU) you have. Windows XP : Go to Start, then Run, type devmgmt.msc and hit Enter. Windows Vista and 7 : Go to Start, type devmgmt.msc in the Search field and hit Enter.
After you have gotten to the Device Manager window, navigate yourself to Display Adapters. Now expand the Display Adapters by clicking once on the right facing arrow(Windows 7) or the plus[+](Windows XP and Vista). You will now see what graphics card you have in your computer.
After you have acquired the name of your graphics card, you may proceed to the next step.
If your graphics card is ATi, click here to obtain your free Half Life 2: Deathmatch. If your graphics card is NVIDIA, click here to obtain your free Half Life 2:Deathmatch.
There you should see a button like GET IT NOW! Press that and you will be prompt with a window like this :

When you get to that step, I assume you will know what to do. If not, ask any questions in this thread.
Additional notes : Both sites are held by Valve and do not have any sort of spy-ware, ad-ware or virus. ATi users will also get Half Life 2: Lost Coast with their Half Life 2: Deathmatch. NVIDIA users will also get Portal: First Slice(Demo of Portal), Half Life 2: Lost Coast and Peggle Extreme with their Half Life 2: Deathmatch.
