SOPA = Against violation of copyrighted material. That guy's campaign website violated copyright laws. He is one of the sponsors of SOPA. Now do you see the irony?

No more ThePirateBay, no more YouTube, Wikipedia will be shrinked rapidly, Google may be shut down, no more Facebook, no more Twitter..
Guess you see the point now.... They will basically, over time, destroy the Internet.

I do not think that the Sopa will be able to remove/shut-down either Facebook or Google, Or not even Thepiratebay, Twitter, Youtube or Wikipedia. Basicly because they are such large companies. Thepiratebay might be a medium/small company, but I do not think that they can remove it either.
There are a very large amount of people that uses these applications/features, And i bet that over 99% of that ammount is against SOPA.

Megaupload has been shut down, thus proving that they have that ability. Although, SOPA seems to be out of the game, but now the twin, PIPA, is in.
But you know what? Anonymous have responded! They've already taken down several .gov sites and big company sites due the takedown of Megaupload - and it's not over yet, they will continue.

The chance that the bill passes is very high, but from what I've heard there are quite a few problems. First off it's an election year in the US and if the bill passes Obama will veto in order to gain more votes. Also, if the bill passes I am damn sure that people won't stay put about it. Even now, as soon as SOPA/PIPA were mentioned people began attacking the US government, and if by any chance the bill now passes, imagine the chaos it will bring.

I'll be honest, I don't give a flying fuck about SOPA/PIPA or the US government at the moment, but if the bill passes and it ruins MY internet.. I WILL be noisy. I will do whatever is in my power, without getting in trouble of course, to help and support Anonymous in any way.

Anyway, it's 5 am so I'm going to bed. Let's pray for freedom on the internet, guise! :3

I would like to thank you [K]evin for telling that Anonymous has responded.
I have waited for them to do something ever since SOPA/PIPA started this movement.
Oh well, Since you told, i found a letter from Anonymous, wich can be found in most articles about SOPA/PIPA that contains something about Anonymous...
